Heather Herndon
Principal Designer
Heather is the founder of HID and an Austin native. She holds a Master’s degree in Interior Architecture, earned during her five years living in Boston—an experience that both deepened her love for finding the perfect harmony between old and new, and her hatred for commuting in a snow storm.
Heather believes great design starts with connection. She thrives on getting to know her clients—what they love, what makes them laugh, and what makes a space feel truly like home. She has a deep appreciation for pieces that hold meaning—whether collected during travels, passed down through generations, or simply too special to part with. She loves creating layered, soulful interiors that feel lived-in, elevated, and that tell a story.
Above all, Heather believes the design process should be collaborative, meaningful—and fun.
